As some of you may know, I am a student at Temple University in Philadelphia studying Art Direction in Advertising. In an effort to gain a more comprehensive understanding of technology, I have chosen to take a class this semester entitled Digital World 2020. We will be covering a wide range of topics from hardware and software to the programming and algorithms involved in the functionality of computers. In an effort to pass along this knowledge, I will be focusing upcoming posts on “bytes” out of the digital world, hoping to educate and inspire other creators who are passionate about technology systems in contemporary society.

Being an artist in the digital age requires a comprehensive understanding of the detrimental role computers play in the development of graphic and web design. I am concurrently learning HTML and CSS to further my expertise and learn how to make my digital work more personalized and visually appealing. I am excited to examine cybernated topics from the lens of an artist and share this viewpoint.
